Lifestyle Ink Technical and Vocational Training Institute ( LITVTI) has witnessed several reforms since its establishment with major objective to provide professional training to the youth especially women in garment making and Cosmetology using competency-based training ( CBT) methodologies.
Competency Based Training is industry and demand-driven (outcomes-based) education and training programmes where the learning is Based on well-defined industry-generated standards (occupational standards).
LITVTI seeks to provide competency-based training for under privilege women to acquire training in textiles, garments making, cosmetology, massage therapy, beauty therapy and hairdressing.
LITVTI is focused on training women and to be enterprising through innovation and sustainable approaches to programme design, learning, personal development and business support.
The mission of the institute in its formative years has been to nurture women and as well as support entrepreneurs in textiles, garment making and trading. Laterbiokorshie is one of the commercial towns in the Greater Accra Region with a large population of displaced women from the North due to its proximity to Agbobloshie.
